Norden to spend up to USD 38 million on ballast water systems
Norden will spend between USD 19 and USD 38 million to equip 38 vessels with ballast water management systems over the next five years starting next year, says head of project management, Jeppe Mulvad Larsen, to ShippingWatch.

Next year, Danish dry bulk and tanker carrier Norden will begin five-years of work installing ballast water management systems across 38 of the carrier's vessels, so that they can live up to the sharper environmental regulations for ballast water entering into force later this year.
