Taiwan state boosts its stake in Yang Ming

Taiwan's ownership of Yang Ming has now surpassed 45 percent after several capital injections from the state throughout 2017.

The government in Taiwan has increased its stake in Yang Ming in relation to a recapitalization of the container carrier, which was completed on Dec. 8.

According to Alphaliner, the state's stake now stands at around 45 percent, compared to 33.3 percent at the beginning of the year.
