Maersk Line changes dangerous cargo procedures after Honam fire

It remains to be determined whether or not one or more containers with hazardous cargo caused the accident on Maersk Honam, yet Maersk Line has already now taken precautions on the entire fleet.

Soon it will be time to tow Maersk Honam to land, maybe to India, and the initial investigations have also begun into why the fire started. The latest photos of the ship show that the fire has died down, but that what is left of the vessel is completely burnt – from the front part of the ship to the accommodation space to the bridge.
