EU will now review its container block exemption regulation

After close to three years, it is now time to review the container consortia block exemption regulation that exempts liner companies from the EU's regular competition rules. European shippers are concerned.

In the coming weeks, the container consortia block exemption regulations (BER), that exempts liner companies from the EU's regular competition rules, will be reviewed. The review process includes input from shippers, the primary users of the liner companies' services.
