Samskip rejects charges of secret price cartel in Iceland

In comments to ShippingWatch, Samskip rejects the charges by the Iceland Competition Authority, which accuses the shipping company of partaking in illegal price cartel activities with competitor Eimskip. Samskip cites to a case related to price collusion that was settled in April.

Icelandic shipping company Samskip denies having formed an illegal price cartel with Iceland's other major shipping company, Eimskip.

After years of investigating, both container shipping companies last week received letters from the country's competition authority listing a series of severe charges.
