Denmark wants Italy to receive rescued migrants on board Maersk ship

Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen wants Danish integration minister Inger Støjberg to contact her Italian colleague to find a solution after a Maersk vessel rescued 113 migrants. "Merchant vessels are being taken hostage," says Danish Shipping.

Denmark expects that Italy will receive the 113 migrants and asylum seekers picked up by Danish container vessel  Alexander Mærsk in the Mediterranean Friday, says Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in Brussels Sunday after arriving at a mini-summit on migration.
