Seaintel eyes concerning signs for Asia-Europe

Nearing peak season for container shipping, there are particularly concerning signs about the important shipping route, writes Seaintel, which also points out several possibilities for mitigating the situation.

There are concerning developments regarding the important trade route between Asia and Northern Europe, on which the container industry is very dependent. The route's capacity will increase in Q3 by 7.8 percent, while routes from Asia to the North American west coast are also facing a concerning increase at 5.55 percent, writes maritime analyst firm Seaintel.
