A new partnership between Maersk Line, MSC and Zim could launch as soon as in September, announced Maersk Line in a press release regarding a new strategic partnership.
The deal will see the three container carriers working together on trades between Asia and the US east coast. Currently, Maersk Line and MSC operate five loops on the string, while Zim has two.
The plan is that four of Maersk and MSC's loops will enter the new collaboration, where Zim will contribute with one. The Container carriers will share slots on vessels across the five loops.
