CMA CGM steers clear of trade dispute between US and China – for now

French CMA CGM reports strong trade flows from China to the US despite the tariffs being lobbed back and forth. But an actual trade war would impact trade volumes, says CEO Rodolphe Saade.

There are still plenty of packed containers being shipped from China to the US despite the two countries' ongoing tariff dispute, CMA CGM Chief Executive Rodolphe Saade tells Reuters. He reports solid trade on the route going into the third quarter.
