Demand set to dwindle on key tradelane in the next five years

Container carriers will still need to scramble to fill their ships on the key tradelane between Asia and Europe.

This is because demand for container transport on the westbound route looks set to be lower than previously expected, reports analyst firm Seaintelligence, which has updated its forecast.
