Rate index turns around after sliding for seven weeks

Container rates increased in week 52 after declining for seven consecutive weeks. With the increase, the SCFI index has reached its highest level in six weeks.

After sliding through seven consecutive weeks, container rates started to improve in week 52, show the latest numbers from the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, SCFI.
