This is where Maersk's partner in Alang needs to improve

Maersk's preferred shipbreaking yard in Alang, India, needs to improve on several issues if it wants to be included on the European list of approved shipbreakers.

An EU Official tells ShippingWatch that the Shree Ram yard still does not meet the the European standards for ship recycling despite having improved in recent years. ShippingWatch first reported on the story Thursday.
