Maersk notes improvement but is not satisfied with earnings

The Maersk Group has seen a tailwind in its container business, in which both revenue and operations improved in the fourth quarter. Søren Skou does not think the full-year earnings are satisfactory.

Maersk ended 2018 with significant improvement in the core business, although earnings for the full-year were not satisfactory, says CEO Søren Skou.

Thursday's financial report for the fourth quarter shows improvement both in terms of revenue and operations in the important Ocean business, which covers the liner company and the biggest ports under APM Terminals.
