Six out of ten liner companies have disappeared in 20 years

The number of shipping lines has been reduced significantly since the turn of the millennium, reports Seaintelligence. Consolidation has contributed to the disappearance of 60 of the 100 biggest shipping lines – and the trend could very well continue.
