Eimskip's bottom line cut in half after "disappointing" year

Icelandic Eimskip's bottom line was cut in half last year despite growth in volumes and revenue. "The company's performance was below expectations in 2018," says the company's new CEO, Vilhelm Már Þorsteinsson.

Logistics and shipping company Eimskip is not satisfied with its results for 2018, says the Icelandic company in its annual report.

Even though revenue is up, and volumes grew, the bottom line dropped by around half, and that is "disappointing," says the company.
