Alphaliner lowers expected container growth

A weaker growth in the first quarter combined with the escalating trade dispute between the US and China makes Alphaliner lower its expectations for growth in container shipping.

Alphaliner has reduced its growth estimate for container shipping this year to 2.5 percent from 3.6 percent, according to the analyst firm's latest newsletter.
