Seaintelligence points to Hapag-Lloyd as top performer

Germany's Hapag-Lloyd took the lead in the container sector in the first quarter in terms of operating profit and several other parameters, notes Seaintelligence. Maersk achieved the biggest growth with its Ocean division.

No one has performed better in the container sector in 2019 so far than Germany's Hapag-Lloyd, says Seaintelligence after a quarter for which most of the shipping lines have now reported results.
