Chinese container shipping company rejects Tradelens

Cosco-owned OOCL has no intention to follow the same path as MSC and CMA CGM in joining Maersk's Tradelens platform. OOCL is "fully engaged" in the competing GSBN platform, the container shipping company explains to ShippingWatch.

Chinese company OOCL, acquired by Cosco last year, does not intend to become part of the Maersk Tradelens platform.

Tradelens was ultimately validated in May when formerly skeptical rivals MSC and CMA CGM joined the blockchain project, which also includes IT company IBM.
