French container liner CMA CGM introduces a war risk surcharge following the recent attacks on two oil tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, informs the liner company in an update to its customers.

"Considering the recent incidents in the Strait of Hormuz and the related significantly increasing insurance costs in the Middle East Gulf region, CMA CGM is to implement a War Risk Surcharge," writes CMA CGM.
