Hapag-Lloyd expands fleet following growth in reefer

Hapag-Lloyd upgrades its fleet of container ships with high reefer capacity. The decision is not least attributed to the growth potential in South America, says the liner company.

Growth in the lucrative reefer business has made Hapag-Lloyd expand its fleet with five 8,827-teu container ships chartered from Costamare, the shipping line confirms to ShippingWatch.
