OOCL says container sector might need to adjust products and services

The combination of declining global growth and current economic instability demands "flexibility and agility in the business operations," OOCL tells ShippingWatch following the shipping line's half-year report.

The current uncertainty on the market means that flexibility and adaptability are required in order to respond, says OOCL, Cosco's Hong Kong subsidiary, in a comment to ShippingWatch following publication of the shipping company's half-year interim report. As such, the company notes that the industry needs to pay close attention to possible changes in trade patterns.
