CMA CGM's acquisition of Ceva Logistics triggers credit downgrade

French CMA CGM's liquidity profile has been "weakened materially" by the acquisition of Ceva Logistics, and this now makes Moody's lower its rating of the liner company.

Credit rating bureau Moody's lowers its rating of French container shipping line CMA CGM.

This happens as a consequence of the shipping company's liquidity, which according to Moody's has been weakened during the past year, according to a press release.
