What can make maritime giants listen to a new startup?

The answer is actually fairly simple: That small and more or less unknown startups might possess the good idea or the product that the sector just did not know about. Now companies such as Maersk, Wärtsilä and Shell will evaluate 13 projects selected from 750 startups.

Wärtsilä, Shell, Maersk, Cargotec and Hapag-Lloyd are just some of the major companies with activities in the maritime sector who are currently bringing in ideas from new and fairly small companies which they perhaps did not as such expect to be working with.
