Container lines removing significantly more ships on Asia-North Europe

The pressure on rates on the main Asia-North Europe tradelane continues, and the liner companies have thus removed many sailings in the coming ten weeks in an effort to compensate for the development, show new numbers.

Freight rates on the container liners' main tradelane between North Europe and Asia continue to decline and are now USD 130 per teu below the average level seen from 2015 to 2018.
