Søren Toft's announcement that he will leave Maersk is the latest and by far the most prominent departure among the highest placed executives who have worked closely alongside Skou since he took over as Maersk Group CEO in the summer of 2016.

But Toft's departure is not the only noteworthy exit among the key executives on which CEO Skou has relied in the efforts to streamline and modernize Maersk in the last couple of years.
