The hard impact on Italy from the coronavirus outbreak has major consequences for Italian shipping companies.

According to the country's maritime cluster in the form of organization Assarmatori, there has recently been a large reduction of activity at Italian ports. As such, the organization has now asked the country's government for assistance in handling the current situation, which happened during a meeting in Rome this week.
