The German container feeder line could struggle to comply with its loan covenants as the coronavirus has made rates drop significantly. The company has therefore initiated talks with creditors.

The coronavirus has put feeder ship rates under so much pressure that German feeder line MPC Container Ships will have difficulties making payments on some of its loans.

The company is therefore initiating talks with several creditors, informs MPC Container Ships in its earnings report for the first quarter.
