CMA CGM Group reports USD 48 million profit for Q1

CMA CGM Group delivers a profit of USD 48 million for the first three months of 2020. Volumes are expected to drop 10 percent in the first half of the year, according to interim report.

French shipping group CMA CGM noted a setback in volumes of 4.6 percent in the first quarter 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the company's interim report, published Friday.

Altogether, this meant that the company, the world's fourth-largest container line, saw its revenue drop more than three percent to USD 5.5 billion.
