Maersk's chief climate advisor John Kornerup Bang leaves the group

John Kornerup Bang resigns from A.P. Moeller-Maersk after more than ten years with the company, writes Danish business daily Børsen, while Maersk confirms the resignation in a comment to ShippingWatch. Specifically, Kornerup Bang will leave Maersk by the end of June.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Kornerup Bang has been part of Maersk since 2010; for the past six years as director and chief advisor for climate change, where he has played a central part in developing Maersk's strategy to become CO2-neutral by 2050.
