Container lines could deliver combined profit of USD 9 billion in 2020

The world's biggest container shipping lines have been able to raise rates during the coronavirus crisis, and this could pave the way for a billion dollar overall profit in 2020, reports Sea-Intelligence.

Many have feared that the coronavirus crisis could result in billion dollar losses for the world's largest container shipping lines, but the past two and a half months seem to indicate the opposite.

Namely that the combined profit among the world's largest container shipping lines could reach USD 9 billion for the full year 2020, writes Sea-Intelligence.
