
Germany's Hapag-Lloyd is the latest container shipping company to say it will no longer transport waste, including scrap metal, to China, writes Reuters.
In April, China passed new legislation, ultimately making shipping companies and importers responsible for the return and disposal of waste that fails to meet import requirements.
