Wilhelmsen acquires half of German ship management company

Wilhelmsen Ship Management and German asset manager MPC Capital combine their technical container ship management departments through a joint venture under the name Wilhelmsen Ahrenkiel Ship Management.

Wilhelmsen Ship Management acquires half of German company Ahrenkiel Steamships' division for the technical management of container vessels.

The second half of Ahrenkiel is owned by German asset management company MPC Capital, which also owns shipping company MPC Container Ships.
