Costamare charters out 24 ships amid corona crisis

Shipowner Costamare entered chartering agreements with carriers for 24 vessels in the second quarter, during which the coronavirus crisis otherwise put a damper on the container market. CFO reports improvement.

Greek shipowner Costamare landed 24 charter agreements in the second quarter.

The deals cover a mix of contract renewals and new agreements with several of the world's largest container shipping lines such as Hapag-Lloyd, Cosco and Evergreen.
