CMA CGM employee has died after explosion in Beirut

An employee at CMA CGM has been confirmed dead after having been reported missing following the massive explosion in Beirut.

An employee of French container shipping line CMA CGM has been confirmed dead following the huge explosion in Lebanon's capital Beirut on Tuesday.

After the explosion, the shipping line announced that it had launched an emergency plan in the country, where it has a total of 261 employees based in Beirut. Preliminary checks Wednesday showed that two employees were severely injured while one employee at the port was missing, said the company.
