Container rates keep climbing while shipping lines deploy more ships

Container lines are currently facing a paradoxical situation, in which they are largely reinstating the fleet they pulled from the market in spring due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Meanwhile, rates are high and appear to continue their climb.
