Cosco reports profit of almost CNY 2 billion for first half of the year

Container line Cosco's profit clocks in at almost CNY 2 billion for the first six months of the year, a slight setback compared to the year before. And the shipping company's vice chairman is set to depart.

Container shipping line Cosco reports a profit of CNY 1.9 billion (USD 277.5 million) for the first half of 2020.

In comparison, the profit the year before was slightly higher, at CNY 2 billion, shows the interim report for the first half of the year, filed with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
