MSC believes in hydrogen as one of the future fuels for lowering emissions in the container sector.

Meanwhile the shipping line will also continue to use biofuels on its existing fleet, and MSC also views LNG as a "transitional option," said the company's Executive VP for Maritime Policy & Government Affairs Bud Darr at a conference Monday.
