Startup with Hapag-Lloyd among its customers targets bigger slice of digital shipping market

Startup Globe Tracker is in the process of equipping 100,000 of Hapag-Lloyd's reefer containers with tracking units. The company targets a significant portion of the reefer market and has raised more than DKK 70 million for its growth plans, chief sales and marketing officer tells ShippingWatch.

Fairly recently established Globe Tracker aims to conquer a considerable portion of the tasks in supplying the world's refrigerated containers with tracking units, so that they can be monitored and remote-controlled during voyages. A market where a growing number of suppliers are fighting for the shipping lines' attention.
