Container freight rates continue to soar

Spot rates on container freight between Asia and Europe, where Maersk and MSC have a leading position, increased by more than 13 percent to the highest level since 2014.

The rates for container freight from China to the rest of the world increased yet again to the highest level in years, show the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index, SCFI.
