Bimco sees imbalance in supply chains continuing into 2021

The current imbalance in the global logistics and supply chain will continue despite decreasing container rates, projects Bimco.

Even though freight rates on container freight to Asia and the rest of the world last week went down for the first time in 15 weeks, which could indicate that the peak has been reached, the imbalance in the global logistics and supply chain will continue into 2021, says Peter Sand, chief shipping analyst at association Bimco.
