MAN to supply more Hapag-Lloyd ultra-large vessels with engines

MAN Energy Solutions has been tasked with supplying more engines for Hapag-Lloyd's new large-scale ships. Last week, the German container carrier announced a new large-scale order.

MAN Energy Solutions can look forward to more work in connection with Hapag-Lloyd's upcoming ultra-large vessels that will be able to operate on liquefied natural gas (LNG), MAN Energy Solutions informs on Thursday.

Due to an exercise of an option, the supplier is now tasked with supplying a total of 12 engines for the series of ultra-large vessels that are in the pipeline for the German container carrier.
