Container rates set new record for 17th week straight

Freight rates continue to soar, setting a record for 17th consecutive week.

Spot rates for container freight continue to surge and have now set a record without interruption for 17 weeks.

This is evidenced by the Shanghai Containerized Freight Index (SCFI), which tracks the spot rates for container freight from Shanghai to a string of destinations worldwide.
