Daily rates climb on European routes

Daily rates for shortsea sailings in Europe have risen so far in 2021, writes shipbroker Toepfer in an update.

Earnings are increasing for vessels operating smaller routes internally in Europe.

This is evident from a report by shipbroker Toepfer, which notes that especially vessels of 4,800 deadweight tonnes (dwt) are generating more earnings.
