Zim books best quarterly result to date and raises expectations

Israeli Zim has landed its highest quarterly earnings ever, and the lucrative market is prompting the container line to upgrade its 2021 forecast.

Earnings rise to USD 1.4 billion from just USD 144 million in the third quarter of 2020, while revenue grows to USD 3.1 billion in the third quarter of 2021 against USD 1 billion in the same period of 2020, according to the financial report released Thursday.
