WSC says new Biden legislation will have no impact on chaotic container market

A new bill meant to alleviate chaos in the US container market with bottlenecks and long waiting time will have no effect but is merely a political statement, says lobby organization the World Shipping Council.

A new bill currently being processed by the US Congress and meant to mitigate the chaotic domestic container market with bottlenecks and waiting times will have no effect and solve no problems in the supply chains, according to lobby group the World Shipping Council (WSC), which represents container lines.
