MPC orders four methanol-ready container ships

German company MPC Capital, which owns shipowner MPC Container Ships, orders four newbuilds able to sail on methanol. The first ship in the series is slated for delivery next year.

MPC Capital Group, which is behind shipowner MPC Container Ships, orders four methanol-ready container vessels.

The four ships will have a capacity of 5,500 teu each and are to be built at South Korean shipyard Hanjin, writes MPC Capital Group in an announcement.
