Maersk moves more customers to long-term contracts – will bring major added income in 2022

Maersk has gotten several customers on long-term contracts, and at higher prices, which CEO Søren Skou says will provide the carrier with added earnings of USD 6bn compared to last year. Skou denies that the company is attempting to push smaller customers into the spot market.

A.P. Moller-Maersk, which has just bagged a historically high annual result, has succeeded in moving several customers to long-term freight contracts, which is going to raise earnings for the container shipping line.
