Maersk downplays Covid lockdowns in China: Ports operating "pretty smoothly"
While players like DSV and Hapag-Lloyd worry about new port closures in China, Maersk is more optimistic. China will go to great lengths to avoid lockdowns, says Maersk VP in an interview with ShippingWatch. ”To our great surprise, the ports are actually operating pretty smoothly right now.”
