Maersk’s software platform Tradelens gets a new chief, who will bring in experience from Google and Starbucks. Current CEO is retiring.

Container line Maersk has recruited Kim Spalding, former vice president at Starbucks and product leader at Google, as new chief executive of its software venture Tradelens, the carrier writes in a press release.
