Maersk has lost USD 718m due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine

The war in Ukraine has had a financial impact on Maersk, and the company ”has recognized the corresponding value adjustment” for this year’s first quarter.

Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine has not only affected bottlenecks but also finances at Maersk.

Overall, the Russian invasion has had a negative effect on the operating result (EBIT) of USD 718m in the first quarter of 2022, according to the company’s quarterly figures.
